Dipl. Ing. Hans Jürgen Fenzl

As a member of the founding family, Hans Jürgen Fenzl has been closely associated with the Tost company and aviation since his youth.

As a child, he spent his free time at the glider airfield. He later became an enthusiastic glider pilot and motor pilot.

He worked as a freelance certifying staff member for Tost for many decades. After completing his active career as a graduate physicist, he took on a new challenge at Tost: in 1999, he reorganized our quality management system and made it fit for the requirements of JAR 21. This has laid the foundations for our current LBA and EASA approvals.

As Head of QM until 2013, he set the course for consistently high production and product quality. Thanks to his commitment, the quality management system was not just a commitment on paper, but has been practiced with conviction by the entire Tost team every day since then.

Hans Jürgen Fenzl remained with us in the years that followed as a forward-looking, honest and highly qualified advisor until shortly before his death in 2017.
