Bear in mind the following advice during installation and maintenance:
- Make sure the brake cable is laid correctly: as short and direct as possible, but without tight radii
- Use a Bowden cable with a set screw
- Adjust brake lever at regular intervals
- Roughen brake linings with emery paper (grain size 40 to 80) until the complete surface is matt
- Check minimum lining thickness (at least 1.5 mm)
